It’s like all the telcos in Nigeria are no longer want to be friendly with their customers again most especially in terms of their products and services. Recently, a Nigerian owned telco, Glo announced the reduction in their data volume, not long, Etisalat followed the same route as well.
Unfortunately, MTN has also expressed their intention to follow Glo and Etisalat route as they sent message to their users of their forthcoming changes in their GoodyBag subscription price. The message goes like this;
"Dear customer please be informed of a price change of your GoodyBag plan from 8th May 2017. New prices are N25/day, N50/wk and N150/mth. Dial *559*25# to see your plan"
As shown in the picture below;
However, according to MTN message, this change is expected to take effect from 8th of May 2017 and it will only affect the monthly subscription plans. So, the monthly GoodyBag plans of 2go, Facebook, Twitter, Eskimi, WhatsApp and other social medias will be increased from N60 to N150.
