Samsung Galaxy S8 plus is the latest Samsung Android smartphone presently. It is the bigger version and therefore the successor of the recently released Samsung Galaxy S8. But both the device is water and dust resistant. It also features fingerprint and Iris recognition.

The phone runs on Android 7 Nougat and powered by 64-bit Octa-core 2.45 GHz MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 / Exynos 8890 Adreno 540 / Mali-T880 MP12 and features a 6.2-inch super AMOLED display with a 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1 mm dimension and 173g of weight.

Additionally, The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus comes in two variants – single and dual SIM and both the two variants support 4G LTE. It is also packed with 12 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8 megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of memory, the phone has 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB of internal storage, 115GB cloud storage but only the single SIM variant support micro SDcard extension up to 256GB.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus also has Bluetooth, WiFi, microUSB v3.1 and GPS. It also has FM radio and has the following sensors Fingerprint, Iris, Heart rate, Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, Barometer and Compass. It also available in the following colours Arctic Silver, Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue and Maple Gold.

The phone packs a non-removable 3,500 mAh capacity Li-ion Battery and support adaptive fast charging.

Availability
The phone was announced on March 29, 2017 but expected to be available by 21,April 2017.

Launch Price: 900 EUR, roughly $967 in USD, KES 99,581, INR 62,723, CNY 6,660, N297,000 in Nigeria.
