Facebook is gradually improving as they continue to add interesting features to the app.
Recently, the largest online social media introduced “live update” feature which allows you to Go-live and share the live videos to your friends even at the comfort of your room. But now Facebook have added another cool feature which I know you would love when you finally update your Messenger. Guess it?
Yes, it’s “Live Location”. This feature is very similar to that of Whatsapp’s live location tracking and it’s powered by Google map and allows you to share your live locations with selected people. Which means you can choose to share your live location with a group of friends and families or just to a single person.
Your shared live location will only be available for a day (24hours) while a small countdown clock is available to tell you how long you have left. So anytime you share your location, both you and whoever you share it with will be able to see the estimated time it will take you to get to their location by car.
At the same time, if you don't want to share your current location, there is an option for you to share a static point on the map. To do that, click on the location pin then tap on the red pin at the top right corner of the screen and after that just search for the location or just drag and drop the pin on any part of the map.
Another interesting thing about this feature is that it’s rolled out globally and it’s made available to both iOS and Andriod users. To enjoy this amazing Messenger feature, simply head to your various app store on your phone and update your Messenger app to the latest version.
